Pacific Blends Growth News
In November 2011, Pacific Blends Ltd. acquired the business assets of Renaissance Blends, incorporating their product line under the Pacific Blends brand. At that time, Frank McCormac, Renaissance President, joined the Pacific Blends team as the Director of Industrial Sales.
About J Frank McCormac
Frank began his career with Canada Packers in Edmonton after graduating with two diplomas in Bio-Chemistry from Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology. During his years at Canada Packers, Frank held a number of positions increasing in responsibility from Quality Assurance, Lab Technician, Control Accountant, and Meat Formulator before moving into Research and Development.
Frank's range of manufacturing and product development experience led to an opportunity with Stange Canada (McCormick Canada Inc), where he was employed for 13 years. Again, he held positions of increasing responsibility including Technical Services Manager, Western Canada Accounts Manager, and Marketing Manager and left McCormick as their Director of Business Development. He managed departments in technical services, marketing, customer service, business development, costing and pricing.
Looking for an opportunity to move back to Western Canada, Frank joined Rector Foods as General Manager of Western Canada where he achieved considerable success over a four year period, until they were purchased by Kerry Inc. He was then transferred to the USA with Kerry to become Director of Sales of a foodservice division located in Wisconsin, USA.
In 2002 Frank left Kerry to establish his own spice blending company, Renaissance Blends.
Frank now joins Pacific Blends as
Director of Industrial Sales effective November 1, 2011. He will work
with new and expanding customers in western Canada with a focus on
providing superior products manufactured by Pacific Blends that will
meet ever changing customer needs.
